Applied Prenatal Massage: Complex Cases, Postpartum Continuity, and Long-Term Practice

For many massage therapists, prenatal work begins as a specialty and becomes a significant part of their practice identity. Getting there requires more than mastering safe technique — it requires the ability to work thoughtfully with complex or emotionally charged situations: high-risk pregnancies requiring modified approaches, clients with pregnancy complications or a history of loss, and the transition into postpartum care. Each case is accompanied by practitioner reflections and analysis. A postpartum intake worksheet and a care continuity planning guide are included. This course is suitable for massage therapists with prenatal practice experience who want to deepen their specialization.
