Applied Veterinary Pathology: Anatomic Pathology, Outbreak Investigation, and Quality Improvement

Applied veterinary pathology integrates anatomic and clinical pathology with the broader work of outbreak investigation and laboratory quality. This applied course teaches that integration through case-based modules. By the end of this course you will be able to integrate anatomic pathology findings into clinical reasoning, support outbreak investigation, contribute to laboratory quality improvement, and coordinate effectively with specialty pathologists. Each module presents a complex scenario, walks through structured reasoning, and produces a written approach you compare against the worked-through example. This course is written for veterinarians and others deepening pathology engagement. It does not replace supervised training, specialty consultation, or formal residency training. By the end you will have structured frameworks for the applied use of veterinary pathology in clinical practice and disease investigation.
