Honestly the best thing about this course is that it doesn't assume you know anything. It starts by explaining what each panel does, then slowly has you build a beat, add chords, and arrange a full track. The written format actually worked better for me than video because I could stop and try each step in FL myself before moving on. A few weeks in and I'm comfortable navigating the whole program and making stuff I'm proud of.

Really good for getting your first tracks made and understanding the workflow. My only gripe is the mixing chapter feels a bit rushed compared to the rest, I'd have liked more depth on EQ and compression.

The part on automation clips was the highlight for me. I never understood how people got those evolving filter sweeps and now I do. It's explained in a way that just makes sense.

I've messed around with the demo for ages without really getting anywhere. This actually starts with the basics like the channel rack and step sequencer, then builds up to a real arrangement. By the end I had a track I wasn't embarrassed to share.

This is a really thorough introduction and I came away actually understanding the FL Studio workflow rather than just copying button clicks. The pacing in the early modules is perfect for a beginner, and the way it explains layering drums and building a groove is excellent. If I had one wish it would be a bit more on sound design with the built-in synths, since that part felt lighter than the rest. Still, for getting from nothing to a finished arrangement it did exactly what I needed.

I'd spent months piecing together random tutorials and always ended up with half-finished loops that never turned into songs. What made the difference here was the structured roadmap, going from the channel rack to drum patterns, then a bassline, then arranging it all in the playlist and finally mixing. Everything is written out clearly so I could work at my own pace and rewind whenever I lost the thread. I've now finished three tracks start to end, something I honestly didn't think I'd manage.
