Honestly the best thing about this course is that it doesn't assume you know anything. It starts by explaining what each panel does, then slowly has you build a beat, add chords, and arrange a full track. The written format actually worked better for me than video because I could stop and try each step in FL myself before moving on. I'd spent months piecing together random tutorials and always ended up with half-finished loops that never turned into songs. What made the difference here was the structured roadmap, going from the channel rack to drum patterns, then a bassline, then arranging it all in the playlist and finally mixing. Everything is written out clearly so I could work at my own pace and rewind whenever I lost the thread. I've now finished three tracks start to end, something I honestly didn't think I'd manage.
